Light weight, chemical inertia and high mechanical properties in the correct orientation are the key elements when selecting reinforcement materials for demanding application areas, such as the development of mono ski's or building bridges.

Glass fibre is the most commonly used reinforcement material, since it has excellent mechanical properties and it is readily available. To be combined with the right selected resins, the glass fibre can either be applied as direct roving, spray-up roving, woven roving, chopped strand mat, continuous filament mat or non-crimp fabrics.
